Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using paperRR Detect, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Notice. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. Do not use the service if you cannot lawfully agree to these terms or are not legally permitted to use it.

What the service provides

paperRR analyzes Chinese or English text for writing patterns associated with the current model and returns a reviewable report. Text limits, CAPTCHA checks, anonymous daily quotas, and other abuse controls may apply; the server determines current availability.

New reports may include a server-issued ID. A recipient can use the report verification page to retrieve a limited issuance summary.

What an analysis does and does not establish

A result describes patterns identified by the current model under the stated evaluation methodology. It does not prove that a particular person used AI, identify the author, reconstruct the writing process, establish whether a statement is true, or determine ownership or infringement.

False positives and false negatives are possible. Results can vary with language, length, document type, rewriting, quotations, formatting, and differences between submitted text and evaluation data. Review the source text, drafts, citations, process records, and other context before drawing a conclusion.

You must not use a paperRR result as the sole basis for academic discipline, admission, employment, credit, housing, insurance, legal action, or another decision that materially affects a person's rights or opportunities.

Report IDs and verification

Report verification confirms only that the service issued a record with the returned summary. It does not determine whether a PDF, screenshot, or report body was changed, and it does not guarantee that the analysis is correct. Copying a genuine report ID into another file does not make that file genuine. Legacy reports without an ID cannot be verified online.

Anyone with the complete ID who passes the CAPTCHA can view the limited issuance summary without signing in as the report creator. Keep this in mind before sharing a report or ID.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law or another person's privacy, copyright, confidentiality, or other rights; submit malware or material intended to disrupt the service; probe for vulnerabilities without permission; bypass CAPTCHA, quotas, or access controls; automate abusive request volumes; misrepresent a report or verification result; or use the service to harass, discriminate against, or make unsupported accusations about another person.

Your text and responsibilities

You retain whatever rights you already hold in submitted text. These terms do not transfer ownership of that text to paperRR. You grant the service only the permission reasonably necessary to process the text, return the requested report, protect the service, and create the limited issuance record described in the Privacy Notice.

You are responsible for having all rights, permissions, and lawful grounds needed to submit and process the text. Do not submit unnecessary personal data, trade secrets, legally privileged material, export-controlled information, or other sensitive content.

paperRR software and materials

The paperRR software, site design, documentation, reports, and accompanying materials are proprietary to Shanghai Infinite Imagination Information Technology Co., Ltd. unless a separate license expressly states otherwise. These terms do not grant permission to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create a competing service from protected paperRR materials except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.

Third-party services and links

The service uses Tencent Cloud CAPTCHA and may link to third-party sites or sources. Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. paperRR does not control and is not responsible for third-party content or services, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Availability, suspension, and changes

The service is provided in its current form and may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Models, thresholds, evaluation scope, quotas, report formats, and site features may change as versions evolve. Current evaluation information appears on the Methodology and Results page and in the service response.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, service integrity, security, legal compliance, or infrastructure. We may update these terms; the date at the top identifies the published version. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, paperRR is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy for every text. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, paperRR and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for decisions made from a report without appropriate independent review. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains subject to the protections and remedies required by applicable law.

Applicable law, consumer protections, and contact

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without overriding mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply where you live. This statement does not require a court or regulator to disregard jurisdictional rules that apply independently.

Please contact pattinghead@outlook.com first with questions or disputes so the issue can be reviewed. Nothing in these terms limits a right to contact a regulator, bring a claim in a competent forum, or use a remedy that applicable law makes non-waivable. These terms are product terms, not legal advice.
